Welcome to SenyaLab(beta)
Update: I moved to the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems as a leader of the Optics and Sensing Laboratory. This site will be updated in the near future. For up to date information, please see OSLab.
I am a research fellow at the Center for Computational Sciences
in the Computer Vision and Image Media Laboratory,
at the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
On a more general note, my research interest is human emotion and behavioral analysis based on noninvasive multi-sensor technology. I am particularly interested in the integration of behavioral analysis technology into practical application in the fields of medical diagnosis, homeland security, and education.
More specifically my research focus on topics such as: sensor fusion, multi-sensor human behavior datasets, facial expression and facial thermal analysis, eyes tracking, body gesture recognition, semi-supervised learning, and multidisciplinary project workflows.
